Public Safety
I am so grateful for the men and women in uniform who keep us safe each and every day. Our local law enforcement agencies work hard at protecting our communities. Yet they also do a great job connecting with citizens when times are peaceful. They’ve built up a high level of trust within our communities, so that when there’s an incident or things get tough, we know we can trust them to do their jobs.
As Minnesota citizens, we all need to do a better job building up the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. We have to be a part of helping these cities stand up again so that we can all go back to enjoying a nice dinner or event in the metro area without fear of being harmed.
I will keep working hard to make sure the state of Minnesota is a safe state overall. I will work with my colleagues in St. Paul to do good things, getting more officers hired and getting them better training along with the resources they need.
